Engineering, proven in the air.

SAI's programs share one principle: take an aircraft operators already depend on, and give it the range, payload, systems, and service life of something far newer.

Flagship · Airlift Modernization

C-130M

A complete modernization of the C-130 built around the Modern Technology Cockpit (MTC) — a digital glass flight deck with six active-matrix displays that eliminates the flight engineer and navigator positions. New-generation engines (AE2100 or PW-150A class), an optional 5- or 12-foot fuselage stretch, wing-tip and center-wing "glove" fuel tanks, an enhanced cargo-handling system, and dual-mode in-flight refueling round out an aircraft that performs like a far newer one — while preserving everything that made the Hercules the standard for tactical airlift.

Short-Field Performance

STOL Herk

A short take-off and landing configuration of the C-130, combining aerodynamic high-lift work with propulsion upgrades to operate from shorter, rougher fields at high weights — opening up austere and assault-runway operations the standard aircraft can't reach.

Glass Cockpit

A clean-sheet flight deck that retires legacy analog instruments in favor of modern multifunction displays. SAI's cockpit program reduces crew workload, enables a smaller flight crew, and brings the aircraft into compliance with current navigation, communication, and surveillance requirements.

SA-200 Series

Beyond modernization, SAI's engineering extends to original aircraft. The SA-200 Series is a rugged, STOL-capable cargo family in two variants: the SA-210TA, a multi-purpose military intra-theater tactical airlifter, and the SA-204C, a commercial short-haul regional and feeder freighter. Both load standard pallets straight in through an aft cargo ramp and operate from short, rough fields — sized so pallets transfer directly from larger cargo aircraft for feeder delivery.

Industry Leadership

We didn't follow the industry — we led it.

SAI's engineering put firsts on the C-130 that the rest of the industry followed — the kind of innovation a focused team delivers and the primes take years to match.

That engineering reach has spanned far more than the Hercules — including jet-trainer modernization, airliner conversion, and regional-aircraft upgrade programs.
